Supporting Students. Strengthening Communities.

We know college costs can add up quickly, which is why IU Credit Union is committed to supporting education and investing in our community’s future. Each year, IU Credit Union funds up to $46,000 in college scholarships through a combination of IU Credit Union–administered programs and community partnerships.

Through our internal High School and IU Student scholarship programs, IU Credit Union administers $31,000 of these funds. Additionally, we proudly support several scholarships offered through community partners. These scholarships are funded by IU Credit Union and administered by community partners. Each partner organization manages its own application process, eligibility requirements, and recipient selection.

Whether you’re a high school senior preparing for your first year of college or a current student continuing your education, IU Credit Union is here to help you succeed.

We are currently accepting High School and Indiana University Student Scholarship applications for the 2026-2027 school year.

• High School Scholarships

  • We have a total of $15,000 in scholarships up for grabs! Awards are $1,500 each for one student from each of the following schools:

    • Bloomington North
    • Bloomington South
    • Center Grove
    • Edgewood
    • Eastern Greene
    • Greenwood
    • Owen Valley
    • The Academy of Science & Entrepreneurship
    
    

    Not from one of these schools? We’re also offering two additional $1,500 scholarships to students from any other school!

    
    

    You’re eligible if:

    • You’re a high school senior on track to graduate in the spring
    • You’re planning to enroll full-time at an accredited college or university for the fall semester
    • You or your parent/guardian is an IU Credit Union member in good standing*
    • You’re not an IU Credit Union employee or official, or an immediate family member of one
    • Your cumulative GPA is at least 3.25
    
    

    *A member in good standing is defined as one with a minimum account balance of $5 and no loan delinquencies.

    To apply:

• Indiana University Student Scholarships

  • Headed to IU in the fall? Whether you’re going full-time or part-time, IU Credit Union has your back with $16,000 in scholarships!

    • Full-time award: $2,500
    • Part-time award: $1,250
    
    

    You’re eligible if:

    • You’re in an undergrad or grad program at any IU campus
    • You’re already enrolled or officially accepted
    • You’re an IU Credit Union member in good standing*
    • You’re not an IU Credit Union employee or official, or an immediate family member of one
    
    

    *A member in good standing is defined as one with a minimum account balance of $5 and no loan delinquencies.

    IU Student Scholarship Application
• Ivy Tech Bloomington Scholarships

  • If you’re attending Ivy Tech Bloomington, check your MyIvy account for the IU Credit Union Scholarship! We provide a total of $7,000 annually for full- and part-time scholarships.

    • Full-time award: $840
    • Part-time award: $450
