External Transfers allows you to conveniently transfer money between your IU Credit Union accounts and accounts you own at other U.S. financial institutions. This service is available at no charge through Online and Mobile Banking.
With External Transfers, you can:
Log in to Online or Mobile Banking and select Move Money > External Transfers.
If this is your first time using External Transfers, you'll be prompted to complete a quick enrollment process and add the account you want to use for transfers.
The minimum transfer amount is $5. Transfer limits may vary by member and whether you're transferring money into or out of IU Credit Union.

Transfers involving another financial institution typically arrive within one business day after processing. Transfer times may vary depending on the other financial institution and ACH processing schedules.
Transfers between eligible IU Credit Union accounts generally occur near real-time.
Scheduled External Transfers involving another financial institution can be changed or canceled before 4:00 p.m. ET on the scheduled processing date. Transfers cannot be changed or canceled after this cutoff.
Transfers between IU Credit Union accounts generally process near real-time and cannot be changed or canceled once processed. Future-dated transfers between IU Credit Union accounts can be changed before processing.
