IU Credit Union Volunteers take Another "Day On" to Help Out a Worthy Cause

IUCU Volunteers
IU Credit Union employees and their families and friends took a "Day On" to help out Mother Hubbard's Cupboard pack seeds for their Winter Gardening Project.

It was another “Day On! Not a Day Off” for a group of IU Credit Union employees and their families and friends on the Martin Luther King, Jr. federal holiday. Rhino’s All-Ages Club in Bloomington hosted the Mother Hubbard’s Cupboard Winter Garden Project volunteer service event. A host of volunteers from around the community filled seed packets and planted seeds for the garden project.

Mother Hubbard's Cupboard is a food pantry serving wholesome, healthy food to people in the Bloomington community. Its food pantry serves over 600 people per week. To extend that service, they offer nutrition education and community gardening programs to help people become healthy, self-sufficient, and environmentally conscious.
