It's easy to open an account at IU Credit Union!
All personal accounts include a Membership Savings, which is your membership share. Checking and other types of savings may be added to the account. Youth ages 14-17 must have a parent or guardian joint owner to open a checking account and/or youth debit card.

To open an M3 Youth account at a branch, please bring:

For kids birth through 12 years old.
• Must be opened with a parent, grandparent or guardian
• Proof of Social Security number
• Date of birth and identification (ex. birth certificate or Social Security card) for the child

To open an Elements of Money Youth account at a branch, please bring:

For teens 13-17 years old.
• Must be opened with a parent, grandparent or guardian
• Proof of Social Security number
• Date of birth and identification (ex. Photo ID) of the child
