eStatements

Save paper, money and time with eStatements.

You can now have your monthly or quarterly IU Credit Union statement sent to you electronically through our secure Online Banking site.

• You’ll have a convenient way of saving past statements—no more filing!
• You’ll help save the environment by cutting down on paper production, which saves trees and reduces
  air pollution.
• You’ll help save money by eliminating paper and postage costs.

It’s easy to enroll.
• Login to your Online Banking account—call or visit a branch if you do not currently have access.
• Click the eServices tab.
• Click Enter under eStatements and agree to the Disclosure and Agreement.
• Next, enter your email address, where we will send an email invitation to view your statement
  each time a new statement becomes available.

1. What are eStatements?
eStatements are paperless copies of your monthly or quarterly statements delivered electronically through Online Banking. When you sign up for eStatements, you will no longer receive statements through the mail.

2. How much does the eStatement service cost?
There is no charge for the eStatement service.

3. How do I sign up for eStatements?
To sign up for eStatements, simply login to Online Banking and click the eServices tab. You must agree to the disclosure and agreement before you can continue.

4. Will I need an additional password?
No, because you have already logged into the secure Online Banking environment.

5. Can I access eStatements outside of Online Banking?
IU Credit Union eStatements must be accessed via Online Banking because of the secure environment. If you do not currently use Online Banking, visit any branch or give us a call at 812-855-7823 or toll free 888-855-MYCU and press option 9 to speak with a member service representative.

6. Do I need special software to view my eStatement?
You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view your eStatement. If you do not currently have it installed, you can click on the Adobe link that appears on the eStatement home page.

7. How do I know when my eStatement is ready to view?
You will receive an email invitation to view new eStatements at the address you provide upon enrolling.

8. What if I change my email address, but forget to update it?
If your email is returned to us as undeliverable, we will send a letter to your physical address on file, notifying you that your eStatement is ready to view and asking you to update your email address.

9. Does updating my email address in Online Banking update the email address in eStatements as well?
No, you will need to update your email address in both places. To change your email address for eStatements, click on the eServices tab in Online Banking, and go to “Member Preferences.”

10. How do I print my eStatement?
Click the printer icon in the Adobe Acrobat Reader toolbar to print your entire statement or specific pages.

11. Do I need to save my eStatements or will they be archived?
You may save your eStatements to a disk or folder on your computer by clicking the diskette icon on the Adobe Acrobat Reader toolbar. eStatements will also be archived for a period of two years.

12. Can I receive a paper statement as well as an electronic statement?
No, you must choose either a paper statement or electronic statement for each account number.

13. Is my eStatement safe and secure?
Yes, because it is housed within our secure Online Banking environment.

14. When will my eStatement be available?
Your eStatement will be available within 2-3 business days of your statement cycle date; earlier than you would receive a paper statement.

15. How long will my eStatement be available?
Your eStatement will be archived and available to view for a period of two years.

16. What if I want to cancel my eStatement?
If at any time you would like to cancel eStatements and resume receiving paper statements, go to the eServices tab in Online Banking and click on "Enter” under eStatement and then click on "Member Preferences". Choose “All by paper” from Document Delivery Preference. If you withdraw your consent, you will no longer receive your statements electronically. Statements issued after your withdrawal is effective will be mailed to your physical address on record.
