IUCU helps Girls Incorporated

IU Credit Union is proud to support Girls Incorporated of Monroe County and their mission of inspiring all girls to be strong, smart and bold.

The IU Credit Union sponsored volleyball team (pictured), is part of the nearly 500 girls served by Girls Inc. in Monroe County. Through research-driven programming, sound mentoring and a supportive all-girl environment, Girls Inc. empowers girls to become responsible, self-reliant, successful women.

Black History Month Essay Winners

Each year, the City of Bloomington Black History Month Committee plans activities and events for the entire community to celebrate and commemorate the month of February as Black History Month.

The activities include an essay contest for elementary, middle and high school students. For the second year, IU Credit Union has helped support the contest by awarding the first-place winner in each age category an iPad Air.

Big Time Bowling

IUCU Bowls for Big Brothers Big Sisters

IU Credit Union employees took to the lanes to help raise funds for Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Central Indiana during the annual Bowl for Kids’ Sake. By participating and fundraising, Team IUCU helps Big Brothers Big Sisters match at-risk children in Monroe and Owen counties with caring adult mentors. IU Credit Union also serves as a Match Maker corporate sponsor of the event.

Soups On!

Hoosier Hills Food Bank’s annual Soup Bowl Benefit

Nearly 700 attendees enjoyed tasty soups and great local entertainment at the Hoosier Hills Food Bank’s annual Soup Bowl Benefit. This is IU Credit Union’s third year as a supporter of this popular community event.

Hoosier Hills Food Bank collects and distributes over 4 million pounds of food annually in Brown, Lawrence, Orange, Owen, Martin and Monroe counties. Find out more about the food bank from their website at www.hhfoodbank.org.

2016 Educators of the Year

IU Credit Union takes great pride in supporting the Chamber’s Franklin Initiative and the 2016 Educators of the Year. For more than a decade, the Chamber’s Franklin Initiative has helped to facilitate career awareness while helping students develop the skills necessary to succeed in the pursuit of higher education and employment.
