Board Designated Contributions

2012
Franklin Initiative Graduation Coach Program — $10,000

Graduation coaches are experienced social workers employed by the Greater Bloomington Chamber of Commerce who work in schools to build supportive relationships with at-risk students.

Community Kitchen$10,000
Community Kitchen held a capital campaign to expand their services at a new location on South Rogers Street.  In 2011, IUCU pledged $30,000 to be paid in three annual installments.  This contribution reflects the second installment.

The University Graduate School IUCU Graduate Dissertation Fellowship $10,000
The purpose of this fellowship is to provide financial assistance to support a doctoral student in his or her final year to complete their dissertation expeditiously by reducing the burden to seek additional employment.  In 2008, IUCU committed to $50,000 to be paid in five annual installments.  This contribution reflects the fifth installment.

2011
Community Kitchen$10,000
Community Kitchen held a capital campaign to expand their services at a new location on South Rogers Street.  In 2011, IUCU pledged $30,000 to be paid in three annual installments.  This contribution reflects the first installment.

2010
Foundation of Monroe County Community Schools$20,000
IUCU made a one-time donation to the Our Children, Our Schools, Our Future campaign.


Middle Way House New Wings Community Partnership$10,000
This goal of this project is to provide affordable housing and shelter for those fleeing violence at home as well as child care facilities for resident children.  In 2008, IUCU pledged $30,000 to be paid in three annual installments.  This contribution reflects the third and final installment.


Bloomington Hospital Foundation$10,000
This donation supported Hospice House and Hoosiers Outrun Cancer.
